Alex Barani

Alex Barani is the Senior Director of Business Development and Sales at Metamagnetics. He is responsible for partner engagement, product market fit validation and expanding high-trust relationships across the DoD and Aerospace market. He combines strong technical fluency with strategic execution to accelerate adoption of next-generation RF technologies and is committed to turning emerging capabilities into scalable, mission-ready solutions.

Prior to joining Metamagnetics, Alex drove Business Development and Advanced Programs at RTX.  In that role, he was responsible for managing a range of development and modernization programs for US advanced fighter aircraft.  He started his career as a microelectronics engineer and excels in collaborating with technical teams to drive growth with an emphasis on efficiency and long term sustainability.

Alex has Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Roanoke College and a Master’s degree in System Engineering from University of California at San Diego. Outside of work, he is an avid soccer fan, enjoys camping, and father to two boys
